The Story and Lore of the Object

Maomao is a young herbalist trained by her adoptive father in the pleasure district. Abducted and sold as a servant to the Imperial Palace, she tries to hide her vast knowledge of medicine and poisons to avoid attracting attention. However, her passionate nature and inability to ignore a medical mystery lead her to solve a series of mysterious poisonings, quickly capturing the attention of the influential eunuch Jinshi.

This figurine showcases the young girl's uniqueness, enhanced by the soft lines characteristic of the Sofvimates collection. It faithfully reproduces her observant expressions and her traditional court servant outfit. A striking snapshot that bears witness to her development from a humble neighbourhood apothecary to the most astute investigator of the corridors of power.
